Erosion Control Foreman

Responsibilities

• Prioritize projects, assign work tasks to crew members, and procure required materials
• Lead crew in BMP installation, BMP maintenance, and cleaning construction sites
• Instruct employees in proper work methods and monitor work quality
• Ensure adherence to time schedules and safe work practices
• Operate equipment including trenchers, blowers, street sweepers, and Bobcat
• Maintain written records of projects and file work orders

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of BMP installation and maintenance practices
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as skip loaders, trenchers, and street sweepers
• Proven leadership skills to supervise and motivate a small crew
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents
• Valid California driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to perform medium physical work, including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
