Equity Research Associate - Clean Energy

Responsibilities

• Provide market research support by compiling and publishing high-quality, comprehensive analysis on individual corporations, industries, and financial markets within the clean energy sector.
• Conduct complex data modeling and analysis on multiple data inputs to support initiating coverage reports, thematic reports, and quarterly reporting initiatives.
• Assist in the development of valuation tools and the preparation of forecasting models, including quarterly and annual earnings forecasts.
• Maintain and enhance financial models and databases to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Stay current on market data, economic information, and key industry developments to inform decision-making.
• Work closely with senior research leads on the ongoing publication of research reports and assist with ad hoc projects.
• Develop and maintain professional contacts with market participants and assist in preparing client presentations.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of related experience in equity research or a similar financial analytical role.
• Strong ability to solve complex problems requiring the analysis of multiple variables.

Preferred Qualifications

• CFA designation (or currently working towards it).
• Master's degree or PhD.
