About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform deep diligence on biotech platforms including ADCs, oligonucleotides, peptides, and LNP delivery systems
  • Evaluate CMC and scale-up risks across development stages, including synthetic routes, formulation, and manufacturing capacity
  • Translate technical findings into investment-relevant outputs such as probability-of-success adjustments and margin sensitivities
  • Conduct primary research through KOL outreach, expert calls, and proprietary data collection
  • Build and maintain company financial models, including forecasting and scenario analysis
  • Assist in drafting and publishing research reports, earnings notes, and thematic updates
  • Monitor daily news flow, filings, and market developments to propose implications for the Senior Analyst

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field with strength in applied chemistry
  • 1–3 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, consulting, or biopharma industry roles
  • Strong financial aptitude and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated interest in Biotechnology and life sciences investing
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with biopharma development and regulatory context related to CMC
  • Experience with scientific literature review and interpreting clinical datasets
  • SIE, Series 63, 86 & 87 licenses
