Equity Research Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end client projects for sell-side or buy-side equity clients
• Prepare and update financial models and conduct valuations using DCF, Relative Valuation, and SoTP
• Contribute to various research reports including earnings notes, investment teasers, and thematic notes
• Issue timely updates on company and sector events to gauge impact on stock recommendations
• Maintain sector-specific databases, periodicals, and custom financial dashboards
• Manage client communications independently, including one-to-one interactions and morning meetings
• Support product and process development exercises and contribute to pilot projects
• Create intellectual property such as white papers, blogs, and articles for marketing purposes

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in financial or investment research within a KPO or advisory firm
• Solid expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation techniques
• Strong grasp of financial concepts and their application in equity research
• Proficiency with financial databases such as Bloomberg, Thomson Eikon, DataStream, or Capital IQ
• Excellent secondary research skills and understanding of capital markets and macroeconomic trends
• Graduate degree or above
