Equity Research Analyst

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time news developments and communicate significant market events instantly to traders and analysts
• Analyze broad macro trends, geopolitical developments, and perform deep dives into company financials
• Construct and maintain detailed company and market databases
• Help develop and maintain earnings and valuation models
• Work an overnight shift (approximately 2pm to 11pm ET)

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• 1-3 years of professional experience
• Strong technical proficiency in Excel
• Experience using Bloomberg or Reuters
• Ability to work in a demanding, high-pressure environment
• Strong interest in market movements and news impact on trading

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other programming languages
• Prior experience in buy-side or sell-side research
