Equity Research Analyst

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time news developments and communicate significant market events instantly to traders and analysts
• Analyze broad macro trends, monitor geopolitical developments, and perform deep dives into company financials
• Construct and maintain detailed company and market databases
• Provide timely insights and analysis to support proprietary trading strategies

Requirements

• Full professional proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• 1-3 years of professional experience
• Strong technical proficiency in Excel and experience with Bloomberg or Reuters
• Ability to work in a demanding, high-pressure environment with a strong work ethic
• Analytical problem-solving skills and a strong interest in market movements

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other programming languages
• Prior experience in buy-side or sell-side research
