Equity Operations Support

Responsibilities

• Process all equity and option transactions, including lifecycle events such as exercises, assignments, and corporate actions
• Utilize middle office systems to manage various trade flows and identify/clear breaks prior to market open
• Perform end-of-day checkouts, reconciliations, and work with vendor teams to process EOD actions
• Adhere to and propose improvements to the existing control framework to support business growth
• Collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Finance, Compliance, IT, and Operations to support business-as-usual activities
• Manage client pass-through fees, monthly Swap execution invoices, and floor brokerage invoice reconciliations
• Support the setup of new customer or street-side accounts
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements under SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC, and other applicable exchanges

Requirements

• 1-5 years of experience working within a financial institution
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
• Proven experience supporting Equities and/or Options
• Working knowledge of DTC/NSCC and OCC
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment

Preferred Qualifications

• FINRA Series 99 certification
• Working knowledge of Broadridge BPS
• Deep understanding of the trade lifecycle
