Equity Accounting

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain stock-based compensation schedules, including option grants, RSUs, ESPP, and performance awards
• Ensure accurate accounting and financial reporting for all equity-related transactions in accordance with ASC 718
• Manage and reconcile the equity roll-forward, including tracking of shares outstanding, exercises, cancellations, and forfeitures
• Work with external platforms to maintain the integrity of equity data
• Partner with HR and Legal teams to validate grant data and ensure completeness and accuracy
• Calculate and record monthly and quarterly journal entries, including stock-based compensation
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and external audit requirements

Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to equity or compensation
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel
• Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to work cross-functionally and meet tight reporting deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA in Finance
• CPA certification
