Equities Sales Trading Vice President

Responsibilities

• Execute client orders through direct market access and algorithmic trading within a high-touch sales trading environment
• Provide comprehensive sales trading coverage and build long-term trust with clients by understanding their specific needs
• Manage execution, liquidity, and exposure while supporting all aspects of the trading desk, including pre-trade analysis and research
• Leverage technology and analytics to drive client execution and generate new investment ideas
• Monitor market drivers, news, and developments to provide clients with accurate, real-time information and optimal trading strategies
• Collaborate with internal teams on product development and IT initiatives to improve business practices
• Adhere to the firm's risk management policies and all applicable legal and regulatory rules

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in a Sales Trading or Trading role within an investment banking environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and technical skill set balanced with proven market instinct
• Ability to communicate complex market concepts and ideas clearly to diverse audiences
• Ability to maintain composure and exercise sound judgment under pressure in challenging trading environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Mandarin language is highly preferred
