Equities Prime Brokerage Product Controller - Associate

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily profit and loss reporting and related control checks
• Support month-end close activities to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness
• Analyze profit and loss and balance sheet movements and explain key drivers to stakeholders
• Deliver clear reporting and insights to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management
• Partner with the business to implement robust controls and support new business initiatives
• Coordinate with front- and back-office teams to resolve control, valuation, and reporting issues
• Investigate breaks and variances and document root causes and remediation actions
• Maintain strong process discipline and ensure adherence to control standards and procedures
• Provide analytical and project support to improve reporting quality and operating efficiency

Requirements

• Relevant experience in Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or a closely related area
• Demonstrated experience performing daily profit and loss reporting and month-end close processes
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and a demonstrated control mindset
• Ability to communicate complex financial topics clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Proven ability to build strong working relationships across functions and seniority levels

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of financial products and how they impact profit and loss and balance sheet reporting
