About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage OEM vendor performance and provide feedback regarding support, parts, and process improvements
- Create and maintain a report card system to track key supplier performance metrics and drive improvement plans
- Lead fab-wide equipment engineering improvement projects across cross-functional teams and business units
- Analyze equipment gap-to-goal data and drive initiatives to meet performance metrics
- Deliver staff and executive-level presentations, proposals, and status reports to drive continuous improvement
- Communicate and escalate critical business needs and technical support requirements to OEM Executive Leadership
- Utilize data analysis and lean methodology to reduce inefficiencies across multiple engineering teams
- Collaborate with equipment analytics teams to interpret data and implement novel solutions
Requirements
- B.S. in mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering (other engineering or manufacturing degrees accepted)
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry
- Proven experience in vendor management
- Strong project management experience with a background in Lean methodology
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization (e.g., TIBCO Spotfire or similar software)
- Ability to manage multiple parallel projects in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP or Project Management Certification
- Experience working directly with major OEM vendors such as TEL, LAM, AMAT, or ASML
- Knowledge of semiconductor equipment theory of operations and maintenance
- Programming experience in Python, SQL, or HTML
- Experience with full stack development and cloud computing
