About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide detailed written and verbal communication to internal and external customers regarding design requirements for complex components and assemblies
  • Support the development and implementation of tooling methodologies
  • Participate as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines
  • Investigate technical problems and participate in the implementation of Lean Principles and technologies
  • Advise and assist customers on executing design and contractual requirements
  • Travel to international suppliers as required (approximately 20%)

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • Minimum 2 years of industry experience
  • Current or previous experience with NX, Teamcenter, or CATIA
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with manufacturing process improvement and lean manufacturing principles
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Ability to communicate effectively and lead technical discussions
  • Valid Passport or ability to obtain one for international travel
  • Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by export control compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Integrated Product Team (IPT) processes and cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong background in supplier engagement and support, including quality compliance
  • Experience with program proposal activities and technical review meetings
