Equipment & Tool Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform stakeholder discovery and develop production asset requirements and complex design solutions
• Validate technical data analysis and provide automation or technical recommendations for production system integration
• Lead the creation and modification of equipment and tooling definitions
• Make rework and repair dispositions for asset issues and non-conformances
• Execute project plans and partner with Procurement to meet schedule, cost, and quality targets
• Ensure compliance with safety, maintainability, reliability, and regulatory requirements
• Lead gated reviews and develop plans for production readiness, preventative maintenance, and spares
• Develop and implement workarounds and maintain configuration of asset hardware, software, and documentation

Requirements

• Must be a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 (US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience with system design and integration, operational procedures, and hazard identification
• Experience with machine integration or equipment engineering
• 1+ years of experience in multiple CAD/CAM applications (e.g., Mastercam, CATIA V5, Unigraphics)

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of related work experience
• 5+ years of experience operating computing equipment to access drawings, specifications, and online information systems
• 1+ years of experience in ground support equipment and/or tooling engineering
