Equipment Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including motors, conveyors, and mechanical components.
• Execute electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs to industrial machinery.
• Troubleshoot 3-phase equipment up to 600v and perform high-voltage electrical repairs on controls and relays.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to determine causes of operating problems.
• Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electronic components following electrical codes.
• Follow all safety rules and practices, potentially participating in safety committees or initiatives.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a related technical role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
• Experience troubleshooting 3-phase equipment up to 600v.
• Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training or an Associate's degree is a plus.
