Equipment Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and assurance inspections on equipment
• Assist with qualification of new equipment
• Test and calibrate components using manuals and troubleshooting techniques
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and calibrations
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of quality control, production, and research lab equipment
• Assist in repair and replacement of complex medical equipment and systems
• Install and test medical and research equipment
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions
• Perform activities in accordance with GDP and cGMP
• Communicate production and work environment issues to supervisory staff

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Ability to solve technical and performance problems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• High level of organization and time management skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic startup environment
• Ability to stand, walk, push, kneel, twist, and reach
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 25 lbs
• Ability to work around biohazardous materials and chemicals

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working hands-on with laboratory/clinical equipment
