Equipment Technician, Advanced Packaging

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical or mechanical evaluations to resolve problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment
• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to blueprints, manuals, or technical drawings
• Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts and rebuild or modify manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment using diagnostic tools and technical documentation
• Perform equipment modifications and rebuild systems as directed by engineering to support operations
• Monitor tool performance and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets

Requirements

• Associates of Applied Science in Electronics Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or equivalent military experience
• Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, including fundamentals of electricity and electronic components
• Basic mathematical problem-solving skills at an algebraic level
• Proficiency with standard PC skills, including MS Office
• Fundamental understanding of SPC principles and their proper applications

Preferred Qualifications

• AAS in Electronics or BS in Electronics Engineering Technology (EET)
• Prior equipment technician experience within the semiconductor industry
• Knowledge of maintaining and troubleshooting semiconductor tools
