Equipment Technician 3

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the performance of diffusion furnaces and wet sink equipment
• Perform preventive, corrective, and diagnostic maintenance with an emphasis on root cause resolution
• Develop and execute model-based troubleshooting plans to minimize tool downtime
• Analyze tool performance data and apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) to detect process deviations
• Follow all cleanroom, safety, and Lockout/Tagout procedures
• Document maintenance work, findings, and system updates accurately
• Mentor junior technicians and contribute to team knowledge sharing
• Maintain an organized workspace following 5S principles

Requirements

• Associate degree in Electronics, Electromechanical Technology, Semiconductor Manufacturing, or related technical/military experience
• 5+ years of experience maintaining semiconductor processing equipment
• Hands-on experience with diffusion furnaces and/or linear wet sinks
• Strong understanding of electronic, pneumatic, robotic, and vacuum systems
• Ability to interpret schematics and utilize diagnostic tools such as DVMs and oscilloscopes
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Akrion, JST, ASM A400 Classic, ASM DUO, or TEL Alpha-8 SE/SEi furnaces
