Equipment Specialist

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and establish long-term and short-term equipment budgets
• Use reliability and failure analysis data to increase equipment availability and reliability
• Support maintenance technicians with parts ordering, inventory management, and scheduling
• Perform equipment and parts inspections
• Ensure compliance with all company, federal, and provincial health, safety, and environmental requirements
• Manage logistics communication and maintain documentation for critical lifts
• Maintain communication between all levels of supervision and management
• Oversee special projects as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in diesel/automotive technology, heavy equipment, mechanical engineering, or construction management
• Fluency in French (spoken and written)
• Willingness to travel and relocate as needed
• Ability to work in both office and field environments
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and access construction sites

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience with heavy equipment
• At least 1 year of experience in equipment planning and budgeting
• Knowledge of CAD modeling software
