Equipment Specialist

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple processes on high-speed automated or semi-automated manufacturing equipment
• Monitor assigned processes to ensure high-quality production and remove defective products
• Participate in equipment changeovers, setups, and continuous improvement activities like 5S
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform routine maintenance tasks such as sweeping and wiping down machines
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and communication to resolve quality issues or process changes
• Conduct on-the-job training for other associates and perform Process Control Operator duties as needed
• Comply with all local, state, federal, and BD safety and quality regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Fluency in English (written and oral communication)
• Basic math skills and strong interpersonal skills
• Good manual dexterity and coordination
• Ability to work overtime as required by the department

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–2 years of manufacturing or production experience
