Equipment Services Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage employee activities including equipment maintenance planning, analysis, and reliability activities
• Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies, and set operational goals
• Lead a team of 10+ people, focusing on development, motivation, and accountability
• Provide technical management of suppliers and oversight of technical approaches and products
• Develop and maintain partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and business partners
• Participate in equipment make/buy decisions and source selection processes

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment
• 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal or informal leadership role
• 1+ years of experience using excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with leaders and colleagues
• Ability and willingness to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift)

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher
• 5+ years of experience in asset maintenance as a mechanic, technician, or millwright
• 3+ years of experience in people management, including coaching, teaching, and mentoring
• Experience leading or managing in a union-represented environment
• Experience managing team workloads, including preventative, planned, and reactive service requests
• Experience with safety regulations and quality standards
• Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution, mediation, and change management
