Equipment Service Technician I

Responsibilities

• Provide repair and basic installation services for dental and medical equipment in practitioner offices
• Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and testing tasks under the supervision of a Lead Technician
• Follow troubleshooting steps to diagnose technical problems and determine appropriate solutions
• Maintain necessary tools and manage inventory levels within the service vehicle
• Produce timely and detailed service reports and complete all work orders daily
• Communicate progress to team members and dispatchers to ensure efficient assignment management
• Comply with all OSHA regulations and company fleet management policies

Requirements

• 2+ years of field service experience
• Strong mechanical background
• Proven customer service background
• Proficiency in troubleshooting technical problems
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Ability to maneuver large equipment and perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and climbing ladders

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training or technical school certification
• Associate degree in a related technical field
