Equipment Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide professional repair, installation, and maintenance services for dental and medical equipment at practitioner offices.
• Follow troubleshooting steps to diagnose technical problems and determine effective solutions.
• Complete on-site installation, repair, and testing tasks under the guidance of a Lead Technician or Project Coordinator.
• Maintain necessary tools and manage inventory levels within the service vehicle.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports and close work orders daily for billing.
• Communicate progress effectively to team members and dispatchers.
• Comply with all OSHA regulations and company fleet management policies.

Requirements

• 2+ years of field service experience.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Proven customer service background.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Basic computer skills and ability to manage digital work orders.
• Ability to maneuver large equipment and perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and climbing ladders.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational training or technical school certification.
• Associate degree in a related technical field.
