Equipment Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide repair and basic installation services for dental and medical equipment at practitioner offices.
• Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and testing tasks under the supervision of a Lead Technician or Project Coordinator.
• Follow proper troubleshooting steps to diagnose technical problems and determine effective solutions.
• Maintain necessary tools and manage inventory levels within the service vehicle.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports and complete all work orders daily.
• Communicate progress to Team Members and dispatchers to ensure efficient assignment management.
• Comply with all OSHA regulations and company Fleet Management Policies.

Requirements

• 2+ years of field service experience.
• Basic mechanical background and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong customer service background and interpersonal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, and electrical systems.
• Ability to maneuver large equipment and perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and climbing ladders.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational training or technical school certification.
• Associate degree in a related technical field.
