Equipment Prep Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist with camera equipment logistics, including inventory management and tracking
• Manage logistical challenges related to equipment movement and storage
• Collaborate with camera operators and directors of photography to understand shoot needs
• Adhere to safety protocols while handling and operating camera equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the camera department

Requirements

• 1-5 years of production experience
• Ability to lift 65-pound cases
• Willingness to work irregular schedules, weekends, and travel as needed
• Proficiency with Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree
• Experience with cinema equipment
• Experience with assembly/disassembly of various camera rigs
• Rental house experience
