About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage long and short-range equipment planning, scheduling, and budgeting
- Improve equipment reliability and availability using failure analysis data
- Support craft maintenance technicians by ordering parts and managing inventory
- Perform inspections of equipment and parts
- Handle material handling, procurement, and logistics management
- Create and maintain tool/filter lists and technical documentation
- Prepare paperwork and planning for critical lifts
- Comply with all federal, state, and company health, safety, and environmental requirements
Requirements
- AS/BS degree in Diesel/Automotive Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Construction Management
- Ability to work in both office and field environments
- Willingness to travel and relocate as required
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience with heavy equipment
- 1+ year of experience with equipment planning, scheduling, and budgeting
- Knowledge of CAD modeling programs
