Equipment Operator

Responsibilities

• Process hazardous bulk waste using specialized wiped film evaporators
• Manage material separation and adjust thermal/vacuum parameters to recover raw material
• Operate and monitor thin film distillation units, boilers, condensers, vacuum pumps, and feed systems
• Load and unload bulk tankers and drums
• Monitor digital readouts, control panels, and gauges
• Make real-time adjustments to temperatures, flow rates, vacuum pressure, and wiper speeds to optimize separation
• Maintain strict safety and regulatory compliance

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of experience operating industrial processing equipment, pot stills, or distillation columns
• Experience in chemical manufacturing or waste management preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Deep understanding of process safety management and PPE protocols

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical training or an associates degree in process technology or chemistry
