Equipment Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift, electric pallet jack, pacer, or other machinery for transporting goods
• Load, unload, pack, and unpack product stock or pallets from incoming vehicles
• Transport and relocate stock to workstations or assigned warehouse locations
• Label and sort incoming and outgoing shipments
• Monitor and maintain inventory of items
• Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure proper working order
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
• Clean equipment and dispose of waste or scraps
• Handle and dispose of hazardous waste materials when necessary
• Adhere to all health, safety, and company regulations

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with stand-up/reach, order/cherry/stock picker, pallet rider, or counterbalance forklifts
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs without restriction
• Ability to stand for 8-12 hours per day
• Physical ability to push, pull, lift, and climb ladders
• Valid forklift operator certificate
