Equipment Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators and loaders safely for earthwork, demolition, and grading
• Perform daily safety inspections and routine maintenance checks on assigned equipment
• Ensure equipment is properly secured and stored after use
• Adhere to all workplace safety standards and wear appropriate PPE
• Follow verbal and written instructions accurately
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor in extreme weather conditions
• Willingness to travel extensively and work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
• Strong time management and communication skills
• Commitment to safety and compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Finish grade/top hat operator experience
