Equipment Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy mobile equipment including front end loaders, backhoe loaders, skid steer loaders, and haul trucks
• Perform daily or pre-shift inspections on vehicles to ensure safe operation
• Maintain clean, orderly, and safe working areas and equipment
• Comply with all company safety rules, O.S.H.A. regulations, and wear proper protective equipment
• Perform related duties such as maintenance, repair, and yard loading as needed
• Recognize and report potentially hazardous situations
• Execute instructions provided in both verbal and written forms

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the position or a related field
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual skills are a plus
