Equipment Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery including compressors, paint booths, hydraulic presses, and pneumatic power systems
• Install, relocate, and realign machinery and equipment to support production facilities
• Perform preventive maintenance, overhauls, and repairs on parts such as wheels, shafting, and bearings
• Adjust clearances, belt drives, and various working parts to ensure optimal operation
• Fabricate simple replacement parts using lathes, drill presses, power saws, or milling machines
• Perform minor AC/DC and oxy/acetylene gas welding as required
• Adhere to all safety protocols, Task Hazard Analyses, and environmental regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an Equipment Mechanic or in a related field
• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting pneumatics, electrical systems, and various machinery
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required)
• Ability to obtain and maintain clearance through the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (BATF)
• Valid Nevada driver's license and ability to pass an MVR check
• Proficiency in using a wide variety of tools and operating computerized terminals

Preferred Qualifications

• Four (4) years of experience in equipment mechanics
• Knowledge of air logic systems
