Equipment Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Process, document, and report manufacturing orders and work instructions
• Install mechanical system components including brackets, piping, actuators, hydraulics, flight controls, and fuel systems
• Perform installations and auxiliary tasks for simple electrical system components
• Test aircraft systems such as hydraulics, fuel, fire extinguishers, doors, and gates
• Prepare and integrate aircraft system components according to defined rules
• Use hand tools and machinery to assemble parts and components
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations in the work environment

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, industrial mechanic (metal), or mechatronics technician
• Several years of professional experience in aircraft construction or an industrial environment
• Proficiency in German and basic knowledge of English
• Willingness and ability to work in a shift system
• Strong commitment to quality, reliability, and documentation accuracy
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
