Equipment Manager - Gas Analysis

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Equipment, Shipping & Receiving team
• Manage the full equipment lifecycle including procurement, validation, calibration, and maintenance
• Own and optimize maintenance and CAPEX budgets
• Drive performance of outsourced calibration and maintenance contracts
• Provide technical expertise and support to field teams and global affiliates
• Deliver chargeable technical training across the SGS network
• Ensure compliance, traceability, and adherence to quality standards
• Manage critical spare parts, stock, and shipping logistics including IATA compliance

Requirements

• Strong experience in a technical or equipment management role
• Proven expertise in gas analyser maintenance or manufacturing
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop technical teams
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• Authorization to work in Ireland

Preferred Qualifications

• Established relationships with analyser manufacturers
• Knowledge of emerging technologies in gas analysis
