About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Equipment, Shipping & Receiving team
- Manage the full equipment lifecycle including procurement, validation, calibration, and maintenance
- Own and optimize maintenance and CAPEX budgets
- Drive performance of outsourced calibration and maintenance contracts
- Provide technical expertise and support to field teams and global affiliates
- Deliver chargeable technical training across the SGS network
- Ensure compliance, traceability, and adherence to quality standards
- Manage critical spare parts, stock, and shipping logistics including IATA compliance
Requirements
- Strong experience in a technical or equipment management role
- Proven expertise in gas analyser maintenance or manufacturing
- Ability to lead, coach, and develop technical teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Authorization to work in Ireland
Preferred Qualifications
- Established relationships with analyser manufacturers
- Knowledge of emerging technologies in gas analysis
