Equipment Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machines and plant facility equipment
• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during production and perform scheduled maintenance during machine service
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, and diagrams to perform required service
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines and plant facilities
• Perform simple machinist, plumbing, and carpentry functions as needed
• Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to complete tasks
• Comply with all safety regulations and maintain clean, orderly work areas

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a related field
• Knowledge of general warehouse practices
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Knowledge of OSHA and other legal safety requirements
• Proficiency with conveyors, motors, and DC drives
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and lift up to 45 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in a mechanical or related field
