Equipment Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform and complete preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment
• Evaluate, troubleshoot, and diagnose equipment problems
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Read and understand parts and service manuals to recommend repairs
• Complete paperwork and computerized maintenance management systems
• Manage parts ordering and inventory
• Work closely with Materials, Machine operators, and Plant Managers
• Collaborate with vendors for equipment repairs

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• At least 2 years of equipment repair experience in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with manual and CNC machine tool installations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with metal and copper fabrication equipment
