Equipment Maintenance Technician

Our first high-volume manufacturing facility is located in West Virginia, producing iron-air batteries.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment troubleshooting, repair and root cause analysis on manufacturing equipment
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new and retrofit equipment
• Ensure a safe work environment
• Perform mechanical, electrical and control system maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Develop and track equipment preventative maintenance schedules using a CMMS
• Record and process findings of maintenance duties on maintenance logs
• Identify root cause of problems by observing mechanical devices in operations

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED
• 4+ years of experience in an equipment maintenance role
• Proficient in mechanical and electrical calibration
• Ability to read and work from mechanical and electrical schematics
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Strong electrical troubleshooting ability
