Equipment Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and isolate failure mechanisms to perform cost-effective repairs
• Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical manufacturing equipment, including conveyor systems and production machines
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, calibrations, and re-qualifications on equipment
• Assist process technicians and engineers with the installation and removal of process equipment
• Disassemble instruments and equipment to inspect components for defects and replace faulty circuitry
• Record equipment logs, problems, and daily functioning activity information
• Assist engineers in formulating test, calibration, and repair procedures to maintain precision accuracy

Requirements

• Associate degree in a related field, military technical training, or equivalent education and training
• 5 years of related experience in equipment maintenance
• Proven experience with SMT (Surface Mount Technology) machinery
