About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment
- Test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machines and equipment using hand and power tools
- Utilize PLC, CNC, blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications for repairs
- Move and place heavy equipment and installed property in accordance with established methods, including necessary rigging
- Perform disassembly and assembly operations required for maintenance assignments
- Enter and retrieve data from the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and order necessary parts
Requirements
- Experience troubleshooting electrical schematics
- High School Diploma/GED or completion of Workkeys Assessment
- Ability to work any shift
- Ability to function at heights up to 40 feet and operate moving platforms, hydraulic lifts, and forklifts
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with industrial or automation maintenance
- Experience with CNC or PLC systems
- Work experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Fanuc systems
