Equipment Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Dismantle, move, assemble, install, and repair industrial machinery and equipment according to blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions
• Use hand and power tools to disassemble equipment and install components such as conveyors and tram rails
• Move heavy machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks
• Perform root cause analysis to support reliability processes and collaborate with engineering and vendors to solve equipment problems
• Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to prevent breakdowns of facilities and machinery
• Perform minor preventative maintenance, including replacing filters, maintaining lubrication levels, and changing machine components
• Repair and build lay-up tools and maintain tools of all types and materials

Requirements

• Workkeys Assessment completion OR High School Diploma/GED
• Ability to perform necessary rigging tasks
• Ability to move and position heavy equipment and installed property using established methods
• Fluent in English
• Must be willing and able to work any shift

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of professional experience in a production environment
• Experience with PLC, CNC, and reading wiring diagrams or technical specifications
