Equipment Maintenance Technician 1

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on wet clean tools and associated subsystems
• Troubleshoot equipment issues including pumps, valves, fluid delivery systems, and chemical dispense systems
• Follow all safety protocols with a strong focus on chemical safety and hazardous material handling
• Adhere strictly to cleanroom contamination control and gowning procedures
• Use basic statistical process control (SPC) methods to monitor tool performance
• Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance logs and equipment documentation
• Communicate technical findings and tool status to engineering and peer teams
• Support continuous improvement and uptime initiatives within the wet cleans area

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment, including full gowning and face covering
• Willingness to work around and safely handle chemicals used in wet cleaning processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or completed an Associate’s (AS) degree
• Experience supporting or maintaining wet clean tools or chemical processing equipment
• Exposure to hazardous chemical handling and safety protocols (e.g., acids, solvents)
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or other cleanroom environments
