Equipment Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain mechanical equipment, including conveyor systems and production machines
• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical in-circuit and functional testers, test fixtures, and stress chambers
• Identify machine malfunctions through troubleshooting and isolate failure mechanisms
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, calibrations, and re-qualifications on equipment
• Assist process technicians and engineers with the installation and removal of process equipment
• Research and implement corrective action reports and process tracking mechanisms
• Maintain detailed equipment logs, recording times and technical problems
• Disassemble instruments to inspect components for defects and replace or balance circuitry
• Assist engineers in formulating test, calibration, and repair procedures to ensure precision accuracy

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
• 2+ years of experience in a similar equipment maintenance position
• Strong background in a manufacturing environment
• Technical knowledge of SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and Backend equipment
• Experience in inventory management
