Equipment Integrity Lead

Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute planned and unplanned integrity inspections of vessels, piping, tanks, and accessories.
• Ensure mechanical integrity of equipment during manufacturing and throughout its service life to prevent major accidents.
• Exercise authority to stop unsafe work and request re-evaluation of unexpected situations or new risks.
• Guarantee that all activities under your control adhere to site Management System Requirements and HSE standards.
• Participate in hazard identification and process risk analysis.
• Evaluate sudden equipment or piping failures and recommend repairs using approved procedures.
• Coordinate root cause investigations for material failures.
• Ensure scheduled inspections are completed, reported, and delivered with high quality and speed.
• Recommend appropriate repairs, including specific materials, welding types, and methods.
• Verify and sign off on incoming materials to ensure compliance with technical procedures.

Requirements

• Chemical Engineering degree or a related engineering field with knowledge of chemical processes.
• Proven experience in the chemical or metal-mechanical industry.
• Strong knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques for equipment inspection.
• Deep understanding of industry standards and codes, specifically ASME, API, and ASTM.
