Equipment Install Technician I

Responsibilities

• Provide professional installation and repair services for dental and medical equipment in practitioner offices
• Complete on-site installation, maintenance, and testing tasks under the direction of a Lead Technician or Project Coordinator
• Follow troubleshooting steps to diagnose technical problems and determine appropriate solutions
• Maintain necessary tools and manage inventory levels within the service vehicle
• Produce timely and detailed service reports and complete all work orders daily
• Communicate progress effectively to team members and dispatchers
• Comply with all OSHA regulations and company fleet management policies

Requirements

• 2+ years of field service experience
• Mechanical background with knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Strong customer service background and interpersonal communication skills
• Basic computer skills and ability to manage digital work orders
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and climbing ladders to maneuver large equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or Technical School Certification
• Vocational training or specialized on-the-job training
