Equipment Inspector and Certifier

Responsibilities

• Inspect and certify lifting equipment and elements
• Train, evaluate, and certify personnel including Operators and Riggers
• Perform field verifications for critical lifting, maintenance shutdowns, and lifting element usage
• Provide constant feedback to operators and riggers to improve performance
• Ensure personnel possess technical, operational, and safety competencies
• Provide induction and training on written procedures and skills
• Hold weekly meetings to review and evaluate work plan progress

Requirements

• Registered Engineer in Industrial, Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Civil Engineering
• Steel Crane Inspector certification to ASME B30.5, ASME B30.2, ASME B30.10, ASME B30.22
• Certification in 2 Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods
• Training in NTP 17020 guidelines
• Knowledge of INS-P-I&E-IND.64 for mobile, gantry/bridge, and articulated cranes
• Minimum 3 years of experience in lifting equipment inspection and operator certification
