Equipment Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Execute electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to resolve issues with non-functioning production equipment.
• Perform equipment set-up, calibration, and modifications as directed by Engineering.
• Rebuild and repair manufacturing equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
• Participate as a contributing member of the Emergency Response Team.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Electronics Technology (or similar discipline), or a high school diploma with equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a production or fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with common hand tools and various electronic instruments.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, such as pumps, during removal and installation.
• Ability to pass a respiratory protection medical surveillance examination.
• Availability to work overnight and compressed shifts.
• Strong self-starter mentality with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
