Equipment Engineering Tech 5

Responsibilities

• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to schematics, blueprints, and manuals
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment
• Execute electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to resolve issues with electro-mechanical production equipment
• Perform equipment set-up, calibration, and modifications as directed by Engineering
• Handle complex assignments requiring judgment to resolve issues or provide recommendations
• Participate as a contributing member of the Emergency Response Team

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent with at least 6 years of experience in a production or fast-paced environment
• Experience using common hand tools and various electronic instruments
• Ability to lift heavy objects, such as pumps, during removal and installation
• Ability to work overnight and compressed shifts
• Must pass a respiratory protection medical surveillance examination
• Strong self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or a similar discipline
