Equipment & Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Implement safety production responsibilities and ensure the safety of maintenance staff and contractors
• Manage training for contractors and maintenance employees regarding relevant regulations and guidelines
• Build and maintain the Clariant standard maintenance system to increase equipment reliability and minimize downtime
• Develop and implement Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans and manage shutdown maintenance
• Oversee spare parts management and maintenance cost control
• Ensure stable and efficient operation of utility facilities (Electricity, Steam, Compressed Air, N2, Chilled & Cooling) and environmental protection equipment
• Support CAPEX projects, including installation, commissioning, and start-up
• Act as the primary planner and scheduler for engineering tasks

Requirements

• University degree, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 8+ years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing or chemical environment
• Deep knowledge of tooling, machinery, assembly equipment, and testing techniques
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
