Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service semiconductor manufacturing equipment and infrastructure within a cleanroom environment
• Perform daily equipment checks, preventative maintenance, and repairs
• Manage equipment process documentation, calibration, and re-stocking of supplies
• Oversee facility and infrastructure upkeep to ensure proper operation
• Monitor cleanroom user activities to ensure safety and tool integrity
• Coordinate with external services for major equipment repairs and upgrades

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Optics, or Electrical Engineering
• 7+ years of experience in a cleanroom or chemical laboratory within a semiconductor manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated expertise with vacuum technology, high-purity gas, and chemical delivery systems
• Experience implementing and maintaining Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and asset history
• Strong systematic problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Optics, or Electrical Engineering
• Experience with the startup and commissioning of facility systems
