Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Schedule and monitor maintenance activities and oversee the acceptance of completed measures
• Perform independent maintenance on complex systems
• Conduct technical research, request quotations, and manage the ordering of spare parts and services from external suppliers
• Manage spare parts inventory and logistics
• Provide technical support for development projects focused on process and machine optimization
• Optimize and revise existing inspection and maintenance plans
• Develop new maintenance and inspection specifications in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Implement training programs for production personnel

Requirements

• Degree in mechatronics or electrical engineering, or completed training as a state-certified electrical engineering technician
• At least 5 years of professional experience in maintenance
• Proven experience working as an electrician
• Broad expertise in the maintenance of machine parks
• Strong knowledge of mechatronics and machine tools
• Fluency in both German and English
