About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain tool performance, availability to production, and primary quality metrics.
- Use data analysis to drive equipment engineering priorities and cost-reduction activities.
- Conduct work in accordance with safety policies and facilitate audits to reduce hazards.
- Partner with suppliers, process owners, and technicians to complete daily activities and resolve issues.
- Analyze SPC, ETI, and Y3 data to identify PM frequency optimization opportunities.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure parts availability for planned and unplanned maintenance.
- Support advanced problem-solving and address root causes for equipment issues.
- Collaborate with equipment owners to develop and prioritize engineering projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Experience in Fab process areas including area processing equipment.
- Knowledge of SPC principles, including improving CPK and reducing defectivity baselines.
- Hands-on experience with LAM/Novellus, AMAT, TEL, or ASML equipment.
- Expertise with Dry Etch equipment.
- Experience in High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) equipment performance management.
- Ability to travel internationally as required.
