Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain tool performance, availability to production, and primary quality metrics.
• Use data analysis to drive equipment engineering priorities and cost-reduction activities.
• Conduct work in accordance with safety policies and facilitate audits to reduce hazards.
• Partner with suppliers, process owners, and technicians to complete daily activities and resolve issues.
• Analyze SPC, ETI, and Y3 data to identify PM frequency optimization opportunities.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure parts availability for planned and unplanned maintenance.
• Support advanced problem-solving and address root causes for equipment issues.
• Collaborate with equipment owners to develop and prioritize engineering projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• Experience in Fab process areas including area processing equipment.
• Knowledge of SPC principles, including improving CPK and reducing defectivity baselines.
• Hands-on experience with LAM/Novellus, AMAT, TEL, or ASML equipment.
• Expertise with Dry Etch equipment.
• Experience in High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) equipment performance management.
• Ability to travel internationally as required.
