About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reliability of a construction and mining equipment fleet
  • Implement, monitor, audit, and manage preventative maintenance programs
  • Use reliability and failure analysis data to increase equipment availability
  • Support craft maintenance technicians by ordering parts, managing inventory, and scheduling crews
  • Perform inspections of equipment and parts and manage material procurement
  • Create and maintain tool/filter lists and technical documentation
  • Coordinate logistics and maintain communication between all levels of supervision and management
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company health, safety, and environmental requirements

Requirements

  • AS/BS degree in Diesel/Automotive Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Construction Management
  • Willingness to travel and relocate as required by project needs
  • Willingness to work in both office and field environments
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in various climates and access all points of a construction site or equipment yard

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience with equipment
  • 1+ year of experience with equipment planning, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Knowledge of CAD modeling programs
